Lotte Jaspers is a founding partner of Yellow Research BV. For the past three decades, Lotte Jaspers has gained broad practical experience in writing successful grant applications and the management of Intellectual Property Rights. Lotte has supported hundreds of scientists with their national and European applications - ERC and MSCA being the main examples of individual applications - as well as consortium driven grants like Infrastructures, FET and Research and Innovation Actions.

On her role at Yellow Research, Lotte sees on a yearly basis hundreds of grant proposals across all scientific domains and offers several rounds of grant writing training workshops to the most prestigious universities. The combination of supporting applicants with the writing of their proposals and later (when applicable) the preparation for interviews provides her with not only a thorough understanding of the evaluation process but also a strong overview on the differences in scientific argumentation across scientific disciplines as well as the similarities across the scientific panels. This, allied with keeping a close check on how the grant reviewers evolve their thinking and what this entails for writing each grant proposal, is part of Lotte’s success in helping scientists to focus their writing on their own scientific community.
